Friday, December 3, 2010 at 8pm Terese will be at The M Bar in Hollywood with her *little big band* and special guest star MARK WINKLER (Platinum selling singer/lyricist!)

Monday, December 13, 2010 at 8pm Terese will be at The Rrazz Room in San Francisco with musical director Sean Harkness in their duo show "Terese Genecco Sings Elvis Presley!"

GENECCO RECEIVES ANOTHER MAC AWARD NOMINATION!

Currently the 2009 Outstanding Female Vocalist, as awarded last May by the Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs, TERESE GENECCO is now nominated for another MAC Award, this time in the prestigious category of MAJOR ARTIST! Genecco shares the nomination with cabaret superstar BABY JANE DEXTER (2010 Nightlife Award Winner for Outstanding Cabaret Vocalist and multiple MAC Award Winner,) the 2010 Nightlife Award Winning Duo of Eric Comstock and Barbara Fasano (also 3-time MAC Award winners,) and Broadway actor - director - educator ERIC MICHAEL GILLETT (also a dual MAC and Bistro Award winner!) Genecco will perform at the 24th Annual MAC Awards show and ceremony at B.B. King Blues Club on May 4, 2010 in New York City.

Terese Genecco is also the recipient of the 2009 Out Music Award (OMA) and the 2007 Back Stage Bistro Award. She recently received a mayoral proclamation from the city of Union City, New Jersey as a part of their Women's History Month celebration.

Legendary Latin Percussionist Back In Hollywood!

We're pleased to report that the legendary Hollywood Latin Percussionist JACK "MR BONGO" COSTANZO will once again join Terese Genecco & her *little big band* at the Hollywood supper club, THE M BAR & RESTAURANT for a one-night-only concert event on Friday, October 2nd at 8PM. Costanzo came to fame in the late 1940's with the Stan Kenton Band where he is credited with introducing the bongos into American popular music. He then went on to star with Nat King Cole, Judy Garland, Peggy Lee, Dinah Shore, Ann Miller, Elvis Presley, Frances Faye and more. Jack has played for every major jazz singer of the late 20th Century. Costanzo first teamed up with Genecco in 2006 for her "Drunk With Love" shows in San Francisco and Hollywood, paying tribute to Frances Faye, with Costanzo recreating the arrangements Faye used in her live recordings from 1958 and 1962 at The Thunderbird in Las Vegas and The Crescendo in Hollywood. You won't want to miss this jazz percussion legend in concert! Rounding out the band will be Bill Fulton on piano, Rene Camacho on bass, Mikey Holguin on drums, Anne King on trumpet, Bob Campbell on tenor sax, and Alan Kaplan on trombone.

Canandaigua native, Terese "Terri" Genecco recently appeared for One Night Only at The Steamboat Landing Resort on Lakeshore Drive in Canandaigua, New York on Friday, July 31st to a sold out crowd of over 350 friends, family, and fans! Terese performed selections from her award-winning shows with her 7-piece *little big band!* Members of the band in this event all hailed from Rochester's Eastman School of Music Faculty. Keep an eye out for their return engagement next summer!
